TELESCOPE PURCHASE! :))

After a selection and a lot of advice, I ordered my first telescope!! :))

This is a refractor of Skywatcher, diameter and focal 120 1000 with equatorial EQ5 motorized on both axes, and peeped at my house Saturday, April 17, 2010! :) .. Will be a memorable date!

Now is still in the box because it will be better not to damage the mount alone: \u200b\u200bP .. I'll give a help to not make trouble;)

The theory of the "circle" of the planets is about to change ....

Tuesday 13/04/10 is confirmed the news of 9 new exoplanets thanks to the Wide Angle Search for Planets (WASP) .. !

(for "exoplanet" is a planet that does not belong to our Solar System, but as a reference to another star .. At the time they were discovered 454 ..!!)

E 'was observed that among the 27 exoplanets controlled, six orbits around their stars in the opposite direction to it!

Therefore, the theory that until now required that the planets always follow the rotation of its star is not at all obvious as it was thought until this recent discovery!

.. we can not know, but the fact is that two Flora family asteroids (whose family was part of the asteroid 65 million years ago did the dinosaurs extinction on our planet .. for lucky: P) clashed giving us this show never before seen and captured by the Hubble:

On 6 January 2010, observers had initially believed that it was a comet, and instead, confirmed by further data from this image taken by Hubble telescope in late January, they noticed a kind of zooming in "X" .. This made it clear that these were the remnants of the collision between two asteroids!

.. we must assume very lucky to be able to observe this event:)
