Jupiter and its "belts" ..

If you search images of Jupiter , you will find pictures like this:

.. but if you looked at him right now, would not be the same .... because you'll notice that the SEB (South Equatorial Band) is no more .... !

I mean

In early April, the amateur astronomer Anthony Wesley looking at the "giant" noted that was missing one of its two red stripes, called SEB.

out the difference with this picture taken by Anthony during the same observation:


One hypothesis of this phenomenon says that the band probably is not gone but simply been superimposed layers of clouds that obscure clear vision ..

However it is not anything new, it happens regularly every 15 years .. so the appeal is as follows:
CAREFULLY GIOVE .. AT ANY TIME THE SOUTH BELT may reappear in your eyes ..!!!!! ;)

Sleeping Lady Myth Tamalpais

My first time .... ;)

Hehe, I guess the title of this post make you smile: P

.. but it was own the occurrence of this Tuesday, May 17, 2010 at 21:15 near the entrance of my house:
I finally had my first time ..... the Moon !! !!!!!!! :))))))

I'm so glad! Just spotted the hunter and focused the telescope, to my eyes appeared the Moon finally ..! :))

The feeling I had was really strong .. I was moved to observe those craters up close .. :) The terminal is something special .. ;)

I've always covered so far with the naked eye .. I've always welcomed every time I saw her appear in the sky .. I have always told anything like a special friend .. :)
and finally at that moment I felt embraced by the small and light sponge .. I felt soothed by what seemed almost a hammock on which the swing .. E 'was really one of the most special moments of my life .... :)

I regret not being able to provide "technical" about the same as observing craters, etc. .. I eat a lunar atlas;) hihi
